Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION
The primary function of the Territory Manager is to increase sales and profitability in the Wisconsin territory.

PRIMARY TASKS
  • Sales Prospecting & lead follow through
  • Overall sales growth in territory
  • Territory plan development (written), execution, and annual update including sales forecasts, budgets, and strategic objectives
  • Participate in trade shows as required
  • Participate in new product development
  • Customer needs are represented to the rest of the organization
  • Timely completion of all administrative requirements including expense reports, request for sales or marketing reports or reviews, etc. 
  • Gather competitive information and other market information regularly
  • Remain current on product and industry knowledge by attending sales meetings, vendor training, trade shows, or reading trade journals, etc.
  • Maintain administrative responsibilities including updating sales activity into Salesforce
  • Prospecting for and converting new accounts on an ongoing basis
  • Provide input to Westmor Industries regarding:
    • New product ideas and trends
    • Modifications to existing products
    • Market changes
    • Customer service suggestions
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Associates Degree or Technical diploma with enhanced work experience preferred
  • Professionally developed sales and territory management skills
  • Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), and negotiating skills
  • Manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Highly motivated
  • Professional demeanor
  • Computer skills:  Familiar with using Windows-based PC software, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and CRM use
  • Time management – able to organize schedule, make appointments
SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Primary Territory coverage for WI and crossing over into surround states
  • Extensive Travel
  • Must live in or close to territory assignment
WORK REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable vehicle transportation
  • Able to work effectively in the field on a daily basis
  • 3 to 4 days per week travel time on a seasonal basis (March – October)
  • Maintain off season contacts through scheduled appointments or phone contact (November – February)
