Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION
The primary function of the Inside Sales Representative is to manage customer inquiries and gather information for direct quoting or reassigning leads/inquiries to appropriate Territory Managers.  Also, to provide inside support for Territory Managers through creating and updating inventory lists and specification sheets for new and used stock inventory, as well as managing website postings for both Westmor inventory and “for sale by customer” inventory listed through our website.  
 
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Expectations of all customers, including TMs, Dealers, and staff in other departments are always met or exceeded
  • Sales quotes to assigned territories and follow-up contacts to close sales and obtain orders
  • In house monitoring of sold orders and the production schedule to ensure on-time delivery and coordination of customer deliveries as a back-up to TM’s availability for appointments.
  • Continuous monitoring and updating of inventory and specification sheets for sales department
  • Tracking Westmor owned used inventory for pricing, costing, repair work, to maintain in saleable condition
  • Tracking used sale pricing to help develop fair market valuations for trade in evaluations by all sales personnel
PRIMARY TASKS
  • Serve customer calls and inquiries and provide world class customer service
  • Create and update inventory lists for field Territory Manager support
  • Coordinate customer visits and customer pick-ups at Morris
  • Sales prospecting and lead follow through in unassigned territories
  • Primary contact and sales functions for “house accounts”
  • Support Territory Managers as needed
  • Develop and maintain revenue streams in assigned territories
  • Provide support for distributors/dealers in quoting both new and stock items
  • New territory plan development
QUALIFICATIONS
  • General knowledge of distributed  products line
  • Be an active part of a cohesive team, build trust and relationships
  • Superb organizational skills, with the ability to successfully work on multiple tasks at times
  • Detail Oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including professional phone technique
  • Mechanical aptitude, with above average math skills
  • Ability to use and understand Windows-based software, MS Excel, ERP Sales Module, Internet Research  and Salesforce
  • Prefer sales experience
