Job Description

Primary Function
The primary function of the Field Service Technician is to carry out any work that is to be performed at a customer site, which may include start-ups, planned service work, troubleshooting issues, and warranty repairs.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Customer satisfaction is achieved in all customer contacts
  • Service needs are met in a timely manner, as determined by the customer
  • All work is conducted in a safe, timely manner as determined by the customer
  • Complete all tasks according to planned schedule
  • Inform Customer Service Team of progress on a regular, predetermined basis
  • Work is performed at or above established acceptability standards
  • Communicate customer feedback to all applicable departments to resolve issues swiftly
Primary Tasks
  • Organize information, materials and tools for service trips
  • Execution of work to be performed on-site
  • Coordination of materials returned to Superior after job completion
  • Assist the Quality Department to identify and solve field problems
  • Prepare detailed field reports of customer visits
  • Identify possible sales opportunities from site visits
  • Main product of support is the sand trailers for PropX 
  • Willing to travel, at times for extended periods of time and possible internationally
  • Excellent communication skills, including challenging situations 
  • Strong mechanical abilities
  • Able to read and understand detail drawings
  • Understanding of:
    • Electrical systems, circuitry, and schematics
    • Hydraulic systems and circuitry
    • Diesel engine repair and maintenance
