Job Description
A Millwright is responsible for completing the following duties:
  • Carry out any work that is to be performed at a customer site which may include start-ups, erection, planned service work, and warranty repairs
  • Plan and schedule service trips
  • Organize information, materials and tools for service trips
  • Coordination of materials returned to Superior after job completion
  • Coordinate travel arrangements to and from job site (assisted by Travel Coordinator) 
  • Assist the Quality Department with identify and solving field problems
  • Perform shop production work when not occupied with Service duties
  • Maintain Service Truck and all tools in good repair 
  • Complete all tasks according to planned schedule

Qualifications
  • Willing to travel
  • Thorough knowledge of product line and parts
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience
  • Hold a valid Canadian Journeyman ticket
  • Have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions
  • Experience with Cone Crushers, Jaw Crushers and Vibratory Screens preferred
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, CAD and 3D inventor would be a benefit
  • Thorough understanding of Electrical systems, circuitry, and schematics and hydraulic systems and circuitry
 This position will require extensive work related travel in various terrain and weather conditions.  The amount of the time spent away from the plant will vary with the time of year and backlog of work.  It would be expected that on an annual basis it would require travel around one half to two thirds of the time.  It would be anticipated that travel time would not require staying over weekends except for unusual circumstances.  This job description is intended to be a general guideline of areas of responsibility. There will be incidental tasks not listed that may arise and, as a member of the Superior team, each employee is expected to help in as many of these areas as they can.
