Job Description

The primary function of the Industrial Pipefitter is to install pipe and control systems for our customers in the fuel storage and distribution industry.
  • Must agree to random drug screening
  • Be willing to perform any and all job functions requested regardless of classification
  • Willing to travel for an extended period of time
  • Mental requirements (analyzing, interpreting, organizing, problem solving, etc.)
  • Operate and maintain equipment safely  - Stick/SMAW welder, Oxy/Acetylene, Grinders, Belt Sanders, Drills, Positioner Tables, Chop Saw, Forklift, etc.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
  • Perform all work in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Twisting and applying force to tools/equipment while kneeling, standing, prone or bending
  • Reaching and pulling while standing, kneeling, or bending 
  • Can uphold the company core values
  • Strong work ethic
  • Reliable attendance is critical
  • Must have good hand to eye coordination
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail
  • Use basic hand tools for disassembly/assembly
  • Use lifting equipment
  • Ability to read, understand and follow instructions verbally and/or written (job prints) in English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Pipefitting experience necessary
  • Extensive experience installing, maintaining, and repairing high or low-pressure pipe and control systems required
  • Experience reading blueprints, laying out a job, and efficiently working with pipefitting tools and materials 
  • Must have a solid track record of safety and following safety procedures
  • Need skills working in a team environment but also need to be able to work on your own
  • Necessity to have broad understanding of advance pipe fabrications
  • Knowledge of proper alignment and stress relieving of pipes
